Dolores Power Ltd was established in September 2001, becoming the first Auctioneering firm in Wexford Town established by a female Principal.
The firm is fully bonded and licensed with the PRSA (Licence No. 001868) and is very proud to display the ‘Check They’re Chartered’ sign in the window of their premises.
Dolores is a fully qualified member of the Society of Chartered Surveyors of Ireland (SCSI) and the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). Membership of these bodies is a recognition of the highest standards in the property profession. Dolores has 27 years experience in the property profession. She is also an RICS Registered Valuer under new European legislation (Registration membership number 5615996).
In 2013, Dolores Power was appointed a Member of the Valuations Tribunal, a Statutory Body which hears appeals on Commercial Rateable Valuations throughout the Country. The Board is comprised mainly of Senior Valuers and Barristers. In December 2015, Dolores was elevated to the position of Vice- Chair of the Tribunal.
Auctioneer Cathriona Arthur, also registered with the PRSA, joined the firm in 2003. Cathriona was a mortgage advisor with a leading Banking Institution and always had a keen interest in the property business. Her combined experience has been very valuable in the recent turbulent times in the property downturn and indeed in the current improving economy.
Rose Hillery joined the firm recently. Rose also has a banking background and has been in the property business for over 15 years. A highly professional individual, Rose is an invaluable addition to the company with her great organisational & negotiating skills.
Both Dolores, Cathriona and Rose have experienced the highs and lows of the property profession in recent years and offer a sympathetic but highly professional approach to all their dealings with clients. This understanding of the business has, in a significant manner, contributed to the success of the practice over the years, always ensuring that our clients get the best possible results and personal service available.
On 15th of September 2014, Dolores was joined in the business by fellow Director, and husband, Jim Power.
